I began my programming career in the early 1980's, writing DOS software to run a
small retail store. Emphasis on small. At that time, the only software available
was out of reach financially for most mom and pop stores, and what was available was
much too complicated for that venue. Major overkill! So I started programming for
the sake of simplicity.
Then came the PDA. I wrote the first version of My
Bills in 2001 to help a friend in college who needed something
to manage the few bills she had each month. Since then, My Bills has had over 100,000 downloads
with users all over the world - Switzerland, Holland, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, etc.
